Hello all. Hope you all are doing well. This was my first story which I have posted on my Linkedin profile.
So I think to post it again on my blog. Hope you enjoy it.
Untouched giving? Yes. The following story from my diary will let you ponder as did to me.
When I was travelling towards one of the UNESCO world heritage sites in Gujarat, a scene passed through my physical eyes which forced me to think for the whole day.
A lady was distributing food packets to the poor children near temple ground. At glance it touched my heart and I told to my self “Humanity still alive”. I rarely got 10 seconds as I was travelling on a bike to analyze the whole scene. Suddenly weird part noticed by me, lady was trying hard not to be touched by any of those children. The same reaction as I try to switch off my washroom in monsoon to prevent electric shock. That scene passed through my eyes within 10 seconds but stayed in my mind for the whole day with a simple question. “Why she was distributing food packets without real compassion?” This question passed through my mind for hundreds of times.
Second part of scene that became sedative for me was, those children were no more interested in noticing her behavior. They were only interested in food packets with lots of hope and happiness.
I really wanted to tell that lady,
“If you will give them with all your heart, even you will enjoy it as they are enjoying in receiving”
